    Hi Spence,

I think there’s a problem with the Child 1.6.7′s loading of custom CSS.

This morning I upgraded to WP 3.4, Responsive Parent 1.6.7 and Child 1.6.7. I found Parent 1.6.7 CSS was overwriting my custom CSS. When I deactivated Child 1.6.7, custom CSS was in charge again.

Parent 1.6.7 seems to work fine with Child 1.6.6 and so that is now where I’ve left everything.

    Cheers

    David

Emil informs me there was a bug with his version 1.67 CSS..lthough I didn’t ask what it was. In any event, we will double check if you provide us some further details of your setup. On our child 1.6.7 we relocated labzip-custom.css to be the last file loaded before the closing head tag so it has top priority. Perhaps this is the root of your trouble if you had previous CSS in the parent theme custom.css file? I’m not clear of your setup from your post.

I’n either event…we are up to 1.6.8 so you can give that a try…otherwise, fill me in on the details so we can try to reproduce issue.

    Hi,

I’ve just tried the new Responsive Child 1.6.8 with Parent 1.6.7 and I still found that my custom CSS (maintained in the Child Theme options) was being overwritten by the Parent CSS so I have reverted to the earlier Child version.

I will leave the versions as they were now though as I need to make the site live. I may do a trial later this week if I have time and see how a fresh installation behaves.

    Thanks

    David
